Condor is currently providing earthwork quality control and concrete testing services for the Eight Mile Road Grade Separation Project in North Stockton and the Sperry Road Extension near French Camp. The Eight Mile Road project consists of two overpasses and one underpass which will provide for continued traffic flow between Interstate 5 and Highway 99. The improvements provide three grade separations for two railroad lines that continue south through Stockton. Condor’s client is Psomas Construction Management and the project is funded by the City of Stockton and Measure K.
The Sperry Road Extension project consists of five overpasses and a new four- to six-lane road that will reroute truck traffic from the French Camp/I-5 interchange to the Stockton Airport industrial and commercial areas. Condor is providing testing services to PB America, the project construction manager for the City of Stockton Public Works Department. Pavement capacity improvements on Arch Road were also completed in 2008-2010 as part of a pavement rehabilitation project using cold foam asphalt recycling technologies. Condor provided pavement design, mix design, and construction quality control services for the City of Stockton.
